A Reflection Study of Leaders in Transformation
How leaders experience and respond to change
I am working on the final book in my series, The Inner Work of Transformation. It explores the personal and interpersonal dimensions of leadership that shape how transformation actually gets delivered in practice. Reflective practice. Emotional intelligence. Ethical resilience. The capacity to lead with clarity and compassion when the work is ambiguous and the pressure is high.
To bring those themes to life, I am inviting a small group of leaders to share what transformation feels like from the inside.
Who I am hoping to hear from
Project leaders, change practitioners, and senior executives who are currently leading or supporting transformation in their organization.
What participation involves
A short, reflection based conversation of about 30 minutes. You will be invited to think about a real moment of tension, uncertainty, or decision making in your own work. Not the strategy or the outcome, but the experience of being inside it.
Select anonymized insights will be woven through the book to illustrate themes like awareness, identity, emotional regulation, and reflective capacity. Your name, your organization, and any identifying details stay private.
Two ways to get started

I am currently developing a book titled The Inner Work of Transformation, which explores how leaders experience themselves while leading change in complex environments.
As part of this work, I am inviting a small group of leaders to participate in a brief reflection-based study. The purpose is to better understand how leaders think, feel, and respond in real moments of transformation. Not just what they do, but how they experience the work internally.
What is involved
Participation involves responding to a short set of guided reflection questions based on a real leadership moment you have experienced (approximately 15 to 20 minutes). You may also be invited to a brief optional follow-up conversation (20 to 30 minutes) to further explore your reflections.
How your responses will be used
Your reflections will be used to identify common themes across leaders. Select excerpts may appear in the book as short, anonymized quotes that illustrate key concepts.
- Your name, organization, and any identifying details will not be included.
- Quotes will be edited only for clarity, never for meaning.
- You are encouraged to avoid including sensitive or confidential organizational information.
Voluntary participation
Participation is entirely voluntary. You can skip any question. You can withdraw at any time. By submitting your responses, you are giving consent for your anonymized reflections to be used in the development of the book, and for short excerpts to appear as illustrative quotes.
If you have questions, or if you decide to withdraw your contribution at any point, please reach out directly.
Thank you for considering this. Your perspective will help bring greater depth and realism to how leadership and transformation are understood from the inside.
